I intended to write a longer post this weekend but I decided to write a brief message & share THIS VIDEO from Dr. James Dobson and focusonthefamily.org.

Memorial Day is about celebrating our military men & women who paid the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives in defense of our country and those who made it home but have since passed away. On this Memorial Day, I am thinking about my grandfathers J. Theodore Sampson & Floyd C. Shockey as well as my Great Uncle David Sampson who served our country well during WWII. Not only did they serve their country well, but they returned home, worked hard, raised beautiful families and embodied the words of Deuteronomy 6:5. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” I was truly blessed to have each of them in my life.
