There is so much to learn from Daniel. But it can be summed up as, in ALL things choose obedience.
On a graceful Sunday, while we had our worker’s meeting, our study was on Daniel and his deliberate/intentional act to stay with God, by not defiling himself with the king’s food.
On reading the text again, I got to see some new things. Which I want us to discuss.
Do read these texts:
But Daniel said to the overseer whom the commander of the officials had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, “Please, test your servants for ten days, and let us be given some vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then let our appearance and the appearance of the young men who eat the king’s finest food be observed and compared by you, and deal with your servants in accordance with what you see.”
DANIEL 1:11-13 (AMP)
And,
At the end of ten days, it seemed that they were looking better and healthier than all the young…
