The LORD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.
The LORD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.
Psalm 118:14 (NLT)
Good worship music has the ability to lift me to the heavens & leave me kneeling at the feet of Jesus. There is something supernatural in the way that God uses music to speak His truth directly into my heart. Even years later, when I hear those same melodies again the experince of that intimate fellowship comes right back to me.
Have you ever has a similar experience? I would love to hear about it. What song was it? Where were you when it happened?

You saw the picture on my latest post – the cross stitch of many of the recorded names of God. It resides on the wall in front of the treadmill. Tuesday morning, I sang my way through it as I walked, including I AM in front of each name for about 2.5 miles. It was a great trip! Reinforcing His awesomeness in one’s heart is a great pastime.
