My word for 2021 is ABIDE. But what does it mean to abide in Christ?
Dictionary.com defines abide as to remain; continue; stay.
How does the definition of abide translate into a relationship with Christ?
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. – John 15:5 NIV
To me, abiding in Christ means having such a close relationship that every area of my life is a reflection of Him. When we truly abide in Him, we don’t have to worry about making the wrong decision because our thoughts & feelings are completely intertwined with the heart of God.
My desire for 2021 is that my relationship with Christ becomes deeper each day and that the proof of our spiritual connection will be a life of “love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness and self-control.” – Galatians 5:22b-23a NIV

I’m so glad. I started reading “Feeding on Jesus” on 12/27. God has already used it to draw me deeper into him. Thank you for being the vessel that He used to bring this book into fruition.
