Middle – IG Challenge Day 5

How many times has someone told you that that will go to church (or back to chuch) after they get their life back on track. I’m here to tell you, if that’s what they are waiting on, they will never go to church again.

You see, on our own we are not “good enough” nor will we ever be. BUT, the good news is, Jesus meets us in the MIDDLE of our mess. He cleans us up so that we can be presented to the Father as righteous & whiter than snow.

Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. – Psalm 51:7 NIV

  1. Sure, I’ll come back to the pew
when I can hold my head up high,
see my soul in holy view,
and look ol’ God right in the eye.
Right now, yeah, it’s clear to me
that my life by sin’s been tainted
and I don’t want the Lord to see
me till that stuff is overpainted,
and Almighty God can know the truth
    of my reaching my potential,
for He’ll see the living proof
that those ’round me are reverential.
This I told Pastor, and with a sigh
he said, “Well, friend, I guess that it’s goodbye!”
