Testing…1 – 2 -3

Over the last few weeks, I have had more than a few interactions with medical professionals. What started as a trip to the ER to determine the source of severe pain, became a series of doctor appointments, bloodwork, CT scans, ultrasounds and other labs. It can be quite unnerving to have 3 or 4 different doctors EXPLORE your medical records in an effort to discern an accurate diagnosis.

In the midst of it all, my husband & I both came down with covid.

I did have to postpone my spring break trip in order to take care of my medical needs. Yet thanks to several guest bloggers, much prayer, and the support of my wonderful husband I was able to focus on my health and not worry about anything else.

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.3 John 1:2 NIV

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:6-7 NIV

So do not fear, for I am with you;
    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. – Isaiah 41:10 NIV

Fortunately, after all the EXPLORATION and a time of quarantine, I am on the mend and will require no further medical intervention.

  2. Ah! 22 is you!! 😀 Sorry to here you’ve had those kind of explorations – that can feel rather intrusive, but good to have a diagnosis and good to have a kind hubby and close friends for support. Hope you can have a holiday soon.
