What Do You See? (#10)

Choose 4 things within 4 feet of you and write for 4 minutes. One sentence each.

It’s a beautiful day for the ASMBS Walk from Obesity at Good Shepherd Hospital. 🏥

I got lots of FREE goodies from the sponsors & vendors. 🛍

How wonderful it is to see all of these people who are on this journey with me, each time we meet there is less of us (as we shed our excess weight). 🏋‍♀️

Swans float majesticly on the lake, sunlight filters through the trees, and people mill about waiting for things to get underway. 🚶‍♂️ 🚶‍♀️ 🚶‍♂️ 🚶‍♀️

Are you ready to give it a try?

  1. I don’t know if this is good but these are the four things I’m currently seeing from where I am: LED light, Grizzly bear, wrist watch and my cup.

Inside the four walls of our room, I love the dim light my daughter set up.

Grizzly of We Bare Bears is sleeping in our bed with my daughter.

Looking at my wrist watch, it’s already 10:55 in the evening and I’m still awake.

Well, I need to wash my cup before I go to bed.

  2. It’s nice how people plant trees in rows. They’re more than four feet apart, but they line up with the road.

There’s a creek just on the other side of the tree line. I walked down to take a look. The water is clear.

Uh oh, I scared a Great Heron who was waiting for a fish.

Back to the asphalt road. It’s consistently 32 inches away as I walk. That’s the length of my inseam. 😊

  3. My laptop sits in front of me, like another appendage, waiting for my next words of inspiration to land on its keys.
My Bible sits open to the last relevant passage I wrote about.
Yesterday’s post offer receipt reminds me of the packages of books I mailed yesterday.
The pen, mere inches away, makes me wonder, is writing all I ever do anymore?
