Trying to watch a movie on a television that is going bad is like trying to read a book in the dark without a flashlight. 📺

Velcro, the tiger-striped kitty, is curled up on the footrest of my favorite chair in such a way that I have to sit at an awkward angle or sit elsewhere. 🐈‍⬛💤

Click, click, click go the keys on the laptop as I type these words. 💻

The houseplants are thriving as the bright summer sun streams through the windows; I can almost see them smile. 🪴

  1. My favorite watering can helps me keep the flowers alive in this heat. A broom and dust pan lie behind me on the porch (is that one item, or two)? A large plastic box with a lid keeps all my back porch toys out of sight. A cup of coffee sits within reach to my right.

    Part of mine is

    White noise device
    Brings crashing waves
    Ocean 🌊 water 💦 calmness💧
    The soft down light 💡 will go out soon
    And curtains will
    Close – shutting out that gorgeous full moon 🌕
    And the head will meet the pillow

    To dream in my room
