How did it get to be the 22nd of August already? Today is the day we are supposed to give an update on our progress with our One-Word (WOTY) and Idon’t feel like I have anything new to report.
I looked back at my posts this month and there was only one that I categorized as “One-Word”.
I did read A LOT of books in the last month or so and have continued to ENCOURGE others via snail mail, social media, commenting on blogs, love notes, and acts of service.

In our monthly email, Lisa asked us to:
Pick three people to talk to about your word…whether in person or online or on the phone, etc., ask your three people a few questions, such as:
- How would you define my word?
- Do you use it in your own life?
- What suggestions could you make to help me practice my word?
Sparking a conversation with someone else about your word can give you a fresh glimpse of it. Use their answers to motivate you to move through your word in a slightly different way than you have so far.

I read the email, I intended to follow through
BUT
I failed to add it to my to-do list in Google Tasks
THEREFORE
It did not get done.
AND
It has now been added to the list and will be done in the next week or so.
Before you think that I am beating myself up, please know that I have given myself grace and plan to step up my ENCOURAGEMENT game in the next 30 days.
In the meantime, I hope the scriptures below give you as much encouragement as they have for me.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.[a]
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well. – Psalm 1349:14 ESV
The one who gets wisdom loves life;
the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper. –Proverbs 19:8 NIV
If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,”[a] you are doing right. – James 2:8 NIV
I have not yet picked 3 people either. I hope to do it soon. Blessings to you and grace!
