No matter how famous a person is there is so much more to them than their public persona. Behind all of the moments captured by a cameraman or a reporter lies the “real” lives of the Bush twins.

As I perused the anecdotes within this dual biography I realized anew how truly lacking my sibling relationships are. It is unlikely that we will have the type of relationship that Jenna & Barbara share. Am I sad about this? Yes. Is there anything I can do about it? No. Don’t get me wrong, I love them all but our age differences and lifestyles don’t necessarily lend themselves to closeness. I have lived in Chicagoland for more than ½ my life whereas the rest have remained in Cincinnati for most of their lives.

When I found this book on sale, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at the honesty that Barbra & Jenna poured into sharing their story and how they found their voices in the world.
