“Musings from My Younger Self” presents the poetry and musings of the author’s youth, reviewed and curated through an adult lens. The writing centers on themes of writing, love, heartbreak, God, friendship, self-love, and more. Although most of the pieces were written by the author between the ages of 14 and 18, there is no lack of insight as the young writer tackles not only the struggles of adolescence but also touches on what some may perceive as adult challenges. The volume is most suitable for youth and young adult readers and lovers of poetry.
