Buckie the Bull and Other Short Stories by Sherry Vycital York [REVIEW]

My friend and fellow blogger Sherry Vycital York (Dew Upon the Arbor) recently sent me a copy of Buckie the Bull and Other Short Stories for review.

SYNOPSIS

Discover engaging farm life in this collection of short stories.

Buckie, Moo-lasses, Jasper, and Squawkie Cluck are four of the many farm animals that Horsie Girl and Mr. Boots help care for. Each story is an adventure as the children and animals learn and grow through the situations they face.

Young readers will encounter the fascinating behavior of animals and recognize how it often mirrors their own feelings. They’ll learn how a shepherd and a cattleman care for their animals, but most of all they’ll witness the love, care, and protection of God over all His creatures.

Journal pages included. Let the fun begin.

REVIEW

As a former farm kid, I absolutely love that this book is written for 8-12 year old farm kids.

It can be used as a family devotional, Sunday School lessons, or individual study.

Can you think of a better gift than a personal relationship with Our Lord & Savior?
