We Don’t Eat Our Classmates! (Penelope Book 1) by Ryan T. Higgins [REVIEW]

SYNOPSIS

It’s the first day of school for Penelope Rex, and she can’t wait to meet her classmates. But it’s hard to make human friends when they’re so darn delicious! That is, until Penelope gets a taste of her own medicine and finds she may not be at the top of the food chain after all.

REVIEW

I received this book as part of an ECE (Early Childhood Education) grant. It is perfect for every dinosaur-loving kiddo in your life. This book teaches self-awareness and diversity in a fun and imaginative way.

I can’t wait to share We Don’t Eat Our Classmates! with my students.

  1. I sure hope this applies to the workplace too! I am currently helping a client who has a trail date for his divorce on Jan 5th. The opposing attorney is a huge bully who is rude, and demands his way, even with the judge! So I have a T-rex hand puppet I used when leading a study on Nehemiah. The hand puppet was Sanballat. Now whenever I get a nasty email from this attorney, I put the T-rex on and have it “read” the email to me. Makes it much more fun. I wonder if I’d get into big trouble if I bring it to court with me!
