You never know what experiences God has planned when He gives you a WOTY.
With a word like RENEWAL, I expected to learn deep spiritual truths and perhaps mend some wounded relationships.
B U T . . .
I did not expect to grapple with a horrible stomach bug. Now, I’m not telling you this to ask for sympathy. Instead, I am rejoicing in the physical renewal that I am experiencing this morning. I finally had enough energy to shower and do a load of laundry this morning.
Renewal in any form is a gift from God, and I, for one, am grateful!
Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
save me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise. – Jeremiah 17:14 NIV

I know about that also…I’m catching up, kind of. On blogs as I recover under a blanket on the recliner for 3rd day. I’m out of the loop..what’s a WOTY?

We take our health for granted so often. Healing from sickness is indeed a type of renewal. You feel like a new person when your body is back to normal. I’m glad you are feeling better!

Happy you are on the mend, Barb! Grateful that God had the foresight to make us to mend before there was anything to mend from.
