What Do You See? (#76)

Choose 4 things within 4 feet of you and write for 4 minutes. One sentence each.

An old Western that we have seen before is playing on television. ๐Ÿ“บ

The dishes are done, and the kitchen floor has been swept; if I could only figure out how to keep the cats from leaving kibble in their wake.๐Ÿงน

The box that my new sneakers came in has yet to make it to the recycle bin. ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

One of my cats is sitting on my spouse’s lap while the other is looking for a treat. ๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ›๐Ÿˆ

Are you ready to give it a try?

  1. I’m in an ER room, critical unit. Day 5 for our daughter. lots of wires, monitor with numbers and graphsโ€‚beeping and making other noises designed to assault the senses. Array on a movable table with nibbles out of cold food

Two IVs with several necessary medicines hooked up to black and blue wrist and arm.

she’s laughing now at something unseen…Hallucinations have changed from desperate to angry to laughing…all in the same few minutes. Ready for another round like an old vinyl skipping.

chair hard…no place to lay ones head

  2. Isn’t that a good feeling when the dishes are done and the kitchen cleaned up? Wish I could help you with that kibble problem! My four things: 1) An old battered Yeti cup that still keeps my tea hot. 2) A cloth bag stitched together for my birthday by Granddaughter #2 when she was just seven. The stitches are large and crooked, but I treasure that little bag! 3) PaperMate DryLine tape. Great stuff for covering up mistakes. No waiting for liquid to dry and a lot less messy–which is good for me! 4) A small desk-top lamp given to me by a friend. Not only does it provide helpful task-lighting, but it remind me of her and makes me smile.
