This month Lisa Notes encouraged us to take a deep dive into what Wikipedia has to say about our One Word, But God sent me on a different path to renewal.
I had been feeling drained & empty. I work full time, go to school full time, do volunteer work, and am still embroiled in the court battle that I mentioned last month in Divine Assurance and Prayer Support: Encountering God in Adversity.
Our Ever Faithful Father knew that I needed to gain some perspective to get my head on straight and my heart focused on what is truly important.
First I came across Soul Rest: 7 Days To Renewal in the YouVersion Bible app.
Then yesterday I was given The Bible Promise Book: One Thousand Promises from God’s Word (NLV)
I have been on a God designed, deep dive of another kind.
I hope that Lisa forgives me for deviating from the assignment 😉.

I think it is telling that the same themes in the original book are still relevant today. I think renewal was a great word for you this year.

True rest is vital to our well being and sometimes is so hard to find! I’ll be checking out the YouVersion Bible Plan you mentioned. Thanks for sharing it.
