The Secrets of Whispering Woods by M. A. Moon [REVIEW]

SYNOPSIS

An unearthed journal awakens old secrets… and some refuse to stay silent.

Ruby Winslow lives for a good mystery, but nothing could have prepared her for this one. When her niece uncovers a long-lost journal buried deep within Whispering Woods, Ruby expects an intriguing story to add to her collection- not a series of events that will plunge Cedar Grove into turmoil.

The mystery deepens when a young boy vanishes, and unsettling rumors of a shadowy figure start haunting the town. As forgotten memories resurface, the journal seems to be unearthing secrets that Cedar Grove had buried long ago.

Reluctantly teaming up with a mysterious newcomer who may know more than he lets on, Ruby races to connect the clues, confront dark truths, and face the dangerous history woven into her town’s past. But each discovery leads her closer to a revelation that could shatter Cedar Grove and place her own life in grave danger.

REVIEW

I enjoyed this novella. Still, it would be better if it was a bit longer and went into more detail about how the evidence was discovered.

I received this book free from the author, publisher, or other source. My only obligation is to provide a fair and honest review.
