As accusations fly in the murder case, a more subtle mystery surfaces. An alleged “flamingo sighting” causes another upheaval in this quiet little beach town.

Everyone knows flamingos don’t frequent Texas. But Calvin Wright knows what he saw that day at Otto’s Salt Marsh and Bird Refuge. And for some reason, what he saw doesn’t sit well with some of the townspeople.

The story was entertaining but I feel like I was missing something because this is the only book I have read in the series.
