The Swindle by Brett Nelson [REVIEW]

SYNOPSIS

Trust is the ultimate gamble in paradise.

A charismatic duo of con artists specializes in swindling the wealthy under the façade of being savvy financial investors. While on the sunny beaches of Jamaica, they meet a naive husband and wife who are on the vacation of a lifetime. The two couples’ paths will intertwine in a way that could destroy everything the trusting couple has worked for. As the intricate web of lies and schemes unfolds, they will discover just how thin the line between trust and betrayal is.

Will the allure of wealth and the thrill of the con prove too powerful? Dig your toes into the toasty warmth of the Jamaican sands and discover a world where deception and greed collide.

NOTE: Brett Nelson is the author of both Christian Fiction and Clean Secular Fiction. Readers should be aware that The Swindle is a tale of Secular Fiction that is free of both profanity and sexual themes.

REVIEW

Nelson is not afraid to tackle tough topics. That being said the true-crime nerd in me appreciates the realism in the characters and settings in The Swindle.  Will you guess the ending?

I received this book free from the author, publisher, or other source. My only obligation is to provide a fair and honest review.
