I’m sitting by the patio doors to the back deck watching monster raindrops, a million per second I’m sure. I have always been amazed at how much water can fall out of the sky.

I’m reading a psalm this morning, amazed at the faith of the psalmist. The same faith I have but mine feels much smaller and maybe watered down. It must be the gloomy rain…no, that’s an excuse.

I’m putting on my boots to dash the dog outside for his morning ritual. Puppy doesn’t seem to care about timing between raindrops.

I saunter to the empty coffeemaker. Another pot is in order
