SYNOPSIS
The water only looks a tad choppy when Finn decides kite-surfing is in order.
But, it doesn’t take long for the fog to settle and the wind to gust before Finn finds herself swept out to sea.
In a storm. Without a phone. And now in the middle of the ocean.
Birdie, Beau, and Queen Bean manage to find Finn…and the dead body she’s attached to.
But an unexpected rescue comes courtesy of the Merry Merrow, the luxury yacht that is dripping in money, mystery, and murder.
And the body Finn discovered? Turns out he is a passenger from the yacht.
The Merry Merrow survived a lightning strike but lost it’s advantage against the typhoon.
No radar. No communications. No cameras. With a storm raging all around.
Secrets swirl like the thunderheads above.
One thing is certain. If Finn and her crew don’t find the murderer fast, they will be the next overboard.
REVIEW
This latest installment of Bessie Barr’s Pelican Shores series is reminiscent of Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile. I would even venture to say that this book is my favorite one in the series.
I received this book free from the author, publisher, or other source. My only obligation is to provide a fair and honest review.
