  1. Great post! My dad passed in 2021 right before Thanksgiving, so yeah, Christmas still feels heavy for me. I try to remember better times, celebrating with him, even though I mostly deal with my feelings in silence. Men don’t like to talk about their feelings.
    My mom is gone too and saves parents also. It’s natural to feel the loss more at the holidays I think, but I pray constantly for peace and comfort, knowing that I’ll see them again one day soon.
