Finn Dockrey expects roses, rhythm, and romance when Pelican Shores hosts a dazzling Argentine Tango Exhibition to save the aging Deveraux Theatre. Instead, the final performance ends with a body onstage, and the most enigmatic man in the room dead at her feet.

Finn has a knack for stumbling into murder scenes. She and her best friend, Birdie, dive in with fearless enthusiasm, aided by Finn’s golden retriever, with his uncanny nose for secrets, and Birdie’s cat with her perfectly-timed interference.
