My dear friend, Matt hosts a weekly Blogger Chat on Zoom. This little group has become like family to me over the last several months. It’s funny how some people instantly attach themselves to your heart.
It is interesting that all the members of this group are currently or have been at one time a teacher, preacher or somehow involved in educating others, except for one. That one is Lydia!
Lydia is an amazing, 18 year old blogger. Her writing is that of a much older seasoned writer & I have learned much from her. BUT she has written her last blog for a while. You see, she leaves for Bible College in a few days & the school’s covenants require that all students withdraw from ALL social media (including blogs) while they are enrolled as a student.
This morning we all took turns speaking truth & giving our best advice to Lydia for success in college & then we each prayed over her.

After the Blogger Chat ended there were a few things left unsaid:
What a beautiful way to bless Lydia and send her off to college covered in prayer and wisdom….I am so thankful for this community of bloggers following Jesus. 🙂 – Vanessa
I agree Vanessa, such a blessing for Lydia and all of us!! ….Lydia, be sure to add me to your monthly email list…missing you already!!
–Alicia
I agree. We love you, Lydia!Attached is the poster I made for my desktop to remind myself to pray for Lydia. I thought some of you might like it. – Cheryl

A special time indeed this morning! Here is a verse I invite you all to pray for Lydia (and Lydia to pray for herself!) from Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (NIV) Be blessed and be a blessing Lydia! Pastor Chuck
Lydia’s presence will be missed in my blogiverse.
God’s Blessings on you, Lydia.

Lovely post. Lydia has been a great sister in Christ to me in the short time I have known her, a true Barnabas! I am sure God our Father will encourage others through Lydia.
