Throne of Grace

When I read Hebrews 4:16 a few weeks ago I knew that I needed to bog about it so I did a quick copy/paste saved the draft. Today is the day I will finish my thoughts

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16 NKJV.

Did you catch that? God invites us to boldly come to Him in the middle of our mess so that He can bestow His grace and mercy. We don’t have to wait until we have it all together. Nor does He expect us to! Isn’t that amazing! The Creator of the universe loves you & me so much that he welcomes us with open arms. Let me assure you that there is nothing that you have done or will do that can separate you from God’s love.

I want to take it a step further. If you have been shown God’s grace, are you willing to extend the same to others?

Is there someone you need to forgive?

Is there a fence that needs to be mended?

Is there some stale air the needs to be cleared?

Do it…do it right now…stop reading this post and DO IT!!

Be kind to one another. Have a loving and understanding heart. Forgive one another because God has forgiven you for Christ’s sake. – Ephesians 4:32 WE

Yes, if you forgive others for the things they do wrong, then your Father in heaven will also forgive you for the things you do wrong.But if you don’t forgive the wrongs of others, then your Father in heaven will not forgive the wrong things you do. – Matthew 6:14-15 ICB
