LOVED
My sister-in-law and I have decided to go into the city (Chicago) once a month to have authentic ethnic food. So far I’m loving this new hobby!
Our first meal was at Simply Pasteur (Pasteur Restaurant of Chicago) in Little Vietnam. The phở was the best soup I have ever eaten.

READ/SAID
I am an avid reader (3 books/week on average). The most impactful book that I completed this month was Feeding on Jesus by Jennifer Arimborgo. This 100-Day Devotional drew me deeper into an abiding relationship with Jesus. My 2021 word of the year is ABIDE, which makes me even more grateful for this Holy Spirit inspired devotional.

TREASURED
There has been a lot going on in our house recently and one day last week I had “had it up to here” with all the pressure. As I shared my concerns with my husband, I could feel the stress melting away. I went away from that conversation feeling loved, appreciated & heard. What a gift 🎁
AHEAD
Our daughter, Rachel, will graduate from The University of Wisconsin – Whitewater on May 15th with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education & an ESL (English as a Second Language) Minor. The “ceremony” will be prerecorded and ready for streaming on Saturday. We are so proud of the path she has taken. It is very evident that she is following the path that God laid out for her before she was even born.
Here are a couple of guest posts that she wrote:

It seems normal to me but it is very different compared to when the kids were growing up!

“I went away from that conversation feeling loved, appreciated & heard. What a gift.” Yes, indeed! That is definitely a treasured gift that I love to receive too. And one we each can give when we make time to.

Hurray for your daughter’s upcoming graduation! I also read a lot but probably average about 2-2.5 books a week.
