My friend & walking partner, Wendy, picked the 5k that we did in June. We hiked early to avoid the humidity & the rain in the forecast. Yes, I could just take a walk in my neighborhood. But having a theme & someone to to keep me accountable keeps me motivated.

What helps you stay on track with your exercise regime?

What keeps me on track is reminding myself how good I will feel after a run. Also, I lay my workout clothes out the night before, so all I have to do is put them on and walk out the door.
