On the first Sunday evening of each month our church has a themed potluck. In recent months we have had taco night, burgers & dogs & a fried chicken picnic.

This month we did something different. We hired a food truck. As participants we could make a donation to offset the cost of the meal or bring a dessert.

I made pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. They were not beautiful but they were tasty.

BONUS – The the pastor of the Hispanic congregation that shares our church turned 75 this week and his birthday party was going on at the same time.

That’s a whole lot of partying in one parking lot.
