Decisions, Decisions

How do you make decisions?

  1. Make a list of pros & cons
  2. Poll friends & family
  3. Flip a coin
  4. Go with your gut

OR

Do you pray and let God determine your trajectory?

Let me give you a hint. Prayer is the answer! If God loved you enough to knit you together in your mother’s womb, doesn’t it make sense that He desires to provide for you.

I have realized that when I surrender my will to my Creator and allow Him to determine my path. It is much easier to simply trust & obey.

So today I choose to surrender my will & allow God to determine my path. This, dear reader, is the true meaning of ABIDE.

Are you with me?

  1. In making a decision
    my thought process is clear
    (though it might bring derision);
    it’s namely, where’s the beer?
    It’s not that I’m a fall-down drunk,
    no fleeing from reality,
    it’s just (and, now, who woulda think?)
    that Bud Baffles Banality
    and makes my rhyming words ring out
    with power and with grace;
    a timid whisper turns to shout
    and I waltz about the place
    to my wife’s weary surprise
    while, above, God rolls His eyes.

  2. Go with your gut? I’ve had times where going with my gut has
    saved me MORE THAN ONCE & that is a sign from God above.

    I’ve also have been guided through things that has been a warning
    not to do or not to be at, God above isn’t blind nor is he deaf on how
    things are in & with our lives, So to ignore the signs its best not to.

  3. Yes, I am with You! I spent the last year letting fear have it’s way with me. I want to trust and obey God in 2022. I am stopping by from Five Minute Friday.
