Each day of January participants are emailed a thought provoking question that can be turned into a blog post.
Welcome to Bloganuary Day 23, where we face a myriad of increasingly bizarre prompts and continue to write about them. Why? I’m not really sure. But anyway… – LA (Waking Up on the Wrong Side of 50)
To be transparent, I have thought about giving up on Bloganuary, but then I tell myself that I’ve come too far to quit now.
Interview a fictional character.
I’ve been pondering this question for over 24 hours and I’ve come up with absolutely nothing, nada, zilch.
But I have to write something…right?
I’m not a quitter, after all.
When I was very young and as yet had no siblings. I had two imaginary friends. I simply called them “my little boy and girl.” Had someone interviewed them before they disappeared from my life, I am sure they would tell you that they got tired of being blamed for all the mischief that we got into.
Write about a dream you remember.
It has been said that we all dream but most of us rarely remember them in the morning. I am in that camp. I may remember a fragment of a dream when I first open my eyes. But by the time I take my first sip of coffee, the memory has disappeared like a puff of smoke.

These prompts were hard. I’m just having fun with them…
