It Was Time

Bear with me a minute, if you please. I’m going to “sermonize” for a minute.

Due to some setbacks, I have had in my Journey to a Healthier Me, I have been avoiding the measuring tape. I feared that I had regained some lost inches.

BUT…

This morning I stopped stalling, stood in front of the mirror with the tape measure, and took those eight measurements.

I have lost 78 inches since July 2020. I can’t believe it. But the tape measure doesn’t lie. The way my clothes fit doesn’t lie. The scale doesn’t lie.

If you struggle with health issues like obesity, diabetes, or heart disease and have not been heeding your doctor’s advice, it’s time to listen.

Think of it this way, if you don’t choose healthier habits, your family will have to bear the burden. They will have to become caregivers, decision makers, and funeral planners.

  1. This is blunt, but truthful, “Think of it this way, if you don’t choose healthier habits, your family will have to bear the burden. They will have to become caregivers, decision makers, and funeral planners.” Congratulations, Barb, for continued progress and success in your journey to healthiness!
