REVIEW

Food Triggers, is the perfect companion to The 40-Day Sugar Fast and my WLS journey.

I read a chapter per day so that I could analyze how each of the food triggers affects me. It is a book that I will keep handy for those days when I am struggling to lose the last 20 pounds or when other stressors are pressing in on me.

This book is a good tool for anyone who wants to regain their physical health in a way that honors God. No fad diets, no extreme workouts just controlling what, when and how much goes in your mouth and consistent exercise.

  1. Thanks for the book recommendation, Barb. I appreciate this sentiment when I’m fasting, “What if your hunger pangs aren’t about physical hunger at all but an invitation to develop a spiritual appetite for God?”
