As I said on Monday “the progression of the daily prompts…align with my 2022 WOTY, encouragement.” So, when I saw that vision was the final prompt for Hope*Writers IG Spring Writing Challenge and for Five Minute Friday I knew without a doubt that God has been with me. His vision for 2022 has given me far more encouragement than I have given to others.
I’m in awe of how one step of obedience can reach into a life and transform it in unimaginable ways. Abiding in Christ allowed me to see God’s vison and take the necessary steps to life a life of encouragement.
The cool thing about focusing on one word for an entire year is that it becomes part of your character and prepares you for whatever the Father’s vison is for the following year.
I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope. – Jeremiah 29:11 CEB

#hopewriterlife
Under these days’ hard bereavement
where my hopes the cancer smothers,
I still win, for my achievement
is encouraging a hope in others,
and passing on what I am given,
holding nothing for my own.
This, my friend, is truly living,
for in the Land of Blood and Bone
joy is measured not by gold,
nor by acclaim of public men;
these were paradigms of old
and happiness is now the Zen
of having little, needing less,
and giving all with no duress.

This is so true, Barbara, “The cool thing about focusing on one word for an entire year is that it becomes part of your character and prepares you for whatever the Father’s vison is for the following year.” Encouragement multiplies; you give it away, and yet, your cup remains full.
