There is an empty bowl on my side table that used to hold a yummy snack. 🥣

The cubes are melting in what used to be an iced chai latte, cold deliciousness. 🥛

Why is that beautiful plant dropping more and more leaves every day? 🪴

Laptop, wireless mouse, and charger….all tools I use to speak to the blogiverse. 💻

  1. Okay let me go after you:

    Infront of me is my first table. Buying it was a case of love at first sight. I saw it by the road and couldn’t drive past it. I parked the car by the carpenter shop and bought it and had it delivered to my house. I was so excited to have the table in my house. P/S: the table was meant for someone else but the carpenter accepted to sell it to me and make for the person another one😘

    Infront of me is also a green flower in a white vase. Just my favorite item in this room.

    On the table is my red water glass. So strong yet it was an offer/gift in the supermarket. I bought a big margarine that day because I was hosting breakfast at my house and the offer of the glass came with the margarine.

    Lastly on the table is my house keys because I am almost leaving the house in a few.

    Now I feel relaxed 😎

  2. Three battery powered candles glow in the pre-dawn stillness.

    The patio chair next to me is empty. My wife doesn’t share my love of early mornings.

    As always, my journal is close at hand. I sleep within four feet of it, too. 😊

    A pot of Zinnias looks a little sad. The August heat is a bit much.

  3. The morning sun glistens on the balcony, whilst casting a slight shadow.

    There is a loud tick tock from the cat painting clock, I constructed in 2010.

    The cat saunters on by, smugly after ruining my sleep again. Cats notoriously hate change to their routine, we watched a movie an hour too late for him.

    The living room is quiet. My wife is still asleep. Something I feel like drifting back to on this love seat.

  6. An empty Willow mug, that contained my morning tea sitting on the coffee table.

    The coffee table that my late husband crafted for me out of his father’s 100 year old work bench.

    A crocheted lap rug hanging over the arm of my armchair. Lovingly crocheted by my mother in law in my Clan tartan.

    My Bible sitting on the coffee table in its snug black cover looking a bit worn.

An episode of HOUSE plays before me; my leg tests on a white sheet with nail polish left on 3 of the toes on my foot attached to the leg; a bright blue spay bottle filled with water on a shiny black tray; and, an unused exercise bike sitting in the corner which I’m planning on giving away. Lol.

    Phone, blanket, mug of green tea, doggie number one and doggie number two!

  9. There is a blanket on my lap with a book on top.

    My Yorkie is snuggled up to me on my right.

    There is an end table next to me with special books on them.

    My green, flowering peace lily is in the corner.

    Music Cd’s are on top of the stereo, which fill my soul with joy.
