Butterscotch, our new kitten, sleeps peacefully on the food rest, oblivious to the noise coming from the television. 🔊
The chipped polish on my toenails reminds me it is time for a pedicure. 💅🏽
All the leaves have fallen off that once beautiful plant, leaving only three skinny sticks. 😵
Photos scrolling on the Google Nest create a parade of the people and animals that I love. 🖥️

Are you ready to give it a try?
Tammy L. Breitweiser & The Collective are responsible for this idea.
My trusty pen, a Pilot G-2 0.38, sits in my lap at the ready.
A pocket-sized leather journal sits on the table near by.
My larger journal book, with calendar and more room to write is also here.
Finally, my ever reliable Amazon Kindle is here. I have 126 books on there!

I thought I was the only one with multiple journals.
I do like the flexibility of the G-2 pen.
I used to resist reading on a kindle because I love the feel & smell of REAL books, BUT having books available on my phone/tablet is so convenient!

I like the feel of real books, too, Barb. But, like you said, digital books are super convenient. Have a blessed day!

My wooden vase given to me by a student holding my red pens to grade students work.
Next to it, another holder of yellow highlighters, more red pens and pencils.
A stapler to staple all those papers.
A rock painted with a ladybug to hold down all the papers.

It sounds like you have a nice workspace for doing teacher-y things like grading papers and preparing lessons. Have a wonderful school year.

Hi – I like the name of your cat – butterscotch is a great name
and I can imagine that tree with no leaves –
here is mine
1) my journal sits next to my chair. Wrote two pages earlier and might dive in again after blogging. Such a therapeutic tool.
2). An empty cup sits on the table. I cannot drink one more cup of tea. No mas.
3) The blinds are now shut, as the day is winding down and it is almost time for sleep.
4) I smile to write this and connect with blog friends – and hope that you have a nice pedicure when the time comes
