Some very good words in that list Barbara. Maybe a good addition would be taken from
“because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”

And where I live snow is a four letter word. Pray is also a four letter word!

Snow is most assuredly a curse word!

I do a word a year too and have been praying to see what my word for 2023 will be, so this list gives me some great ideas to ponder!

The youth group at my old church had a Word of the Year, too, with t-shirts, hoodies, etc. I still have some of them: ONE (one God, one truth, one focus, one purpose, etc.), IMPACT (God’s impact on us, our impact on one another, our impact on the world, etc.) and ILLUMINATE (God’s Light spreading in various ways and places).

Thanks for sharing. Each of us can benefit from a guiding word or theme in our lives. Along with God’s Word, we feel ready for each new day.
