My Life in Our Father's World 
*Stacks of books next to me—I need to make a dent in those yet today..maybe just a chapter from each.
*Fireplace crackling and warm—depleting any motivation of mine.
*New vanity sink tops tucked in large boxes reminding me of the next house project.
*Little bits of debris from the firewood and from shoes make it know that yesterday’s sweeping wasn’t really worth it!🤪

Cozy slippers, a gift from our daughter, make me smile in remembering our thoughtful, faraway girl.
A small Chzechoslovakian creche graces a nearby table, keeping Christmas close at heart all year.
Surrounded by gifts and hand-me-downs, I feel wrapped in a hug of sweet memories.
