  1. There are so many good new versions of the Bible and I enjoy many of them when I study through the app YouVersion. When I was young the ONLY acceptable version in my church was the KJV. When you are studying though, it is helpful to read some of the other versions. When I memorize verses, I find myself reverting to KJV. I am tempted to buy a new hard copy but I don’t really want to give up my Scofield study Bible. It was an award when I was in high school and I have important passages marked. It is nice to have options, though.
