‘God’s Not Done With You’ plays on my car stereo, as I pull to a stop in my drive. Sitting in my car, I see my phone and decide to check my WP notifications before getting out. I look up and smile, admiring the huge oak that towers near our home. Finally, I turn toward the window and decide it’s time to get out, go inside and get things ready for work tomorrow. The end. Have a good night!😴

It’s time for bed, and our Schnauzer sits at my feet. The air purifier hums happily nearby, as an old wooden chair serves as a makeshift nightstand. It’s time to put in my night guard, so I don’t grind my teeth while asleep.

The half full cup of coffee in front of me is awfully cold at this point of the morning but reminds me of optimism, focusing more on the full side and less on the half empty side!
Within in close view are my notes from yesterday’s sermon and reminds me of Pastor Jeff’s words over emotions—God created them, they’re not always accurate but we can better understand ourselves through them and ultimately look to God for hope and peace.
The sweater and pants sitting next to me still need some mending…and have for months. I’ve really gotta stop putting it off since sweater weather is surely right around the corner!
The rustling of our hedge hog in her nap-sack plus the birds chirping outdoors are music to my ears as I praise God for His ever-imaginative creative-side.
