Disney+ will be our background noise as we play games, read picture books, and snack on what passes as healthy food on a day like today. 🎮
Of course, there was a pot of hot coffee; should I make a fresh pot or switch to water? ☕🥛

I have all I need close by, as I sit at my computer and wait for the “bell to ring” so I can go home from the office.

The snow is driving sideways on gale-force winds, gusting to 40 knots (45mph). My feet are slowly thawing under my desk as I recover from being outside digging out my stuck plow truck. Vander the cat is napping beside me on the speech I hope to give on behalf of a Presidential candidate at our Iowa precinct caucus on Monday evening. I am enjoying a hot mug of broth.

I’m looking at the Nativity Scene on my table that has to be put away.
As well as the white Christmas tree that’s gotta go too!!
Can’t miss this 12 foot monster tree, that my husband has to bring the ladder up for.
And finally these Christmas Pillow coverings must disappear this weekend.
