Renewal <=====> Revive Me

From the first Sunday of our church’s “Revive Me” series, I knew that God was speaking directly to me on my journey to RENEWAL.

Each week, I am learning to:

Revive my desires

Revive my strength

Revive my relationships

Revive my purpose

We experience REVIVAL by practicing L-A-M-E-N-T

LLook to God

AAcknowledge the loss

MMeet with Him in brokenness

EExpress gratitude for what was

NName your fears and frustrations

TTrust in God’s future

Besides the weekly resources provided at thechapel.org/reviveme our small groups dive deeper into the scriptures shared and the questions raised during the message. These small group times have been such a blessing to each of us. No matter what is going on in our individual lives, we each come away feeling REVIVED and RENEWED.

Father God,

I will be forever grateful for the gift of RENEWAL that you are giving me this year.

I have learned new things about myself.

I have learned new things about You.

May I embrace the lessons and be forever changed.

In Your Precious and Holy Name,

  1. Love how intentional you are with your word!!!
    Mine this year are joy and trust, and sadly there are times when I will go for an extended period of time without considering them, and then I will really need to think hard about what they are!!🤦🏼‍♀️Thankful for the Lord’s patience with us!!

  2. This is such an encouraging post! The scriptures are so refreshing and inspiring. I love your acrostic! The importance of lament is sometimes forgotten but we need it so much. Blessings to you!

  3. How wonderful that your church is doing a series on Revive as you contemplate your word Renewal! I’m glad you’re finding revival and renewal with your small group. I participated in a new small group this morning on zoom and felt revived as well.
