Ahhhh….the joy of Christmas with a baby girl in the house. 🚼

The living room is filled with dollies, dinosaurs and books; what else does a girl need? 🦕🦖📚

Early morning in CA, feels different than in Chicagoland; perhaps it is the sun rising over the palm trees (or is it snuggling with my granddaughter?). 🌴🔆👶

There are no pets in this apartment but my daughter-in-law has a fully stocked coffee bar. ☺️☕👶☕☺️

  2. Sitting in my daughter’s kitchen, watching her precious English lab Sadie. A nearby window offers a view of the backyard’s still-green landscape. Checking my coffee cup, I find it is nearly empty. On the table, my writing notebook waits for me to return (but this exercise is filled with joy).
