Learning Flexibility

It is hard for me to believe that we are almost at the end of January. My final semester of college has begun. My work schedule is crazy. There have already been changes in my family.

My dear friend Lisa, who hosts One Word 2025, has put forth the following questions for January.

What does your word look like?

I keep this fidget nearby to remind me to be flexible in all situations.

Where is your word?

I designed this logo on Canva.

Why this word?

Farewell to Renewal? & New Year – New Word are the posts I wrote about why FLEXIBLE is my WOTY (Word of the Year) for 2025.

Looking back over the last twenty-five days, I can already see places where I am being stretched and bent beyond where I thought I would ever be asked to go. It will be painful. It will be rewarding.

God is at work!!

  1. I appreciate your emphasis on “flexible.” It’s a vital life skill as well as a positive avenue to follow. I’ve written down a two-word phrase to hang on to for direction and encouragement . . . “staying connected.” This has immediate applications to how we need to embrace relationships . . . with God, family, friends, and much more.
