In this work you will read about [Doug’s] friends’ stories and a little bit about their lives. The struggles, the battles, the tough times, how they’ve come through victoriously, and how their lives have been enriched and are all the better for having gone through the fire.
Following their story, and on occasion in the middle of it, you will read the poetry and stories [Doug has] written that seem to suit them well.
