It Can’t be Possible, Can It?

I am amazed at how life has changed since I first began blogging on this platform. At the time, I had two children in college and was working towards becoming a jail and prison chaplain. Now both are happily settled into adult life, and I have had to temporarily set aside my chaplaincy in order to achieve my vocational goals. Working full-time and going to school full-time leaves me little time for much else. But soon, maybe as early as this summer, I will be back to serving the women at McHenry County Jail.

Only time and obedience to God’s call will bring about the next phase of my life. Will He require more or less flexibility from me in the future?

  2. It’s amazing how we can better see our twists and turns when we look back a few years. You’ve been quite flexible, Barb! And I’m sure there are more flexes to come in your year as you possibly get back to the jail ministry. Congrats on 7 years of blogging!
