SYNOPSIS

This captivating story gives us one reason the woman was so distraught when she lost her coin. However, the house full of unattended orphans could be scary for many children.

I am curious – would children be scared because of poor care – or too much freedom and responsibility? Thanks for the review – it might be a good read together for my grandson and I.

I think that both points of view are valid. This is definitely a book that requires discussion with the child(ren) to whom it is read.
