One of my newest journals, a 6″ by 9″ sits on the round table beside me–ready for some more thoughts. One of my new fountain ink pens is next to it. I love the look of its soft blue ink and how it almost effortlessly glides across the page when I write. Also on the table is my empty Sponge Bob Square Pants coffee cup, one of my favorites! A battery powered candle completes the foursome.

I am not. It was a gift from my oldest son, who most certainly is. I think of him when I use that silly cup.

My son who is a computer engineer once got me a mug that says, “I don’t need Google, my mom knows everything.” He is way smarter than me but appreciates the wisdom of his old mom.
