In the corner sits our Christmas tree, beautifully lit and decorated, announcing the bright Christmas season.
On the kitchen counter is the radio, grimly reporting numerous horrors that have taken place in just the past few days.
On the bar sits a poinsettia, bright red, reminding me of the blood Jesus shed for the salvation of sinners.
And beside me on the couch is a worn Bible, containing the Word of God, explaining how it all comes together.

Barb, I appreciate your invitation to share. God’s Word opened on my kitchen table. A cup of coffee warms my inner spirit. A window peers into the early morning darkness. A snow globe graces the back of the table, filled with our Savior’s temporary cradle in a stable.
