Embracing the Unusual #FMF

This week’s FMF writing prompt is: UNUSUAL. Thank you, Kate Motaung, for being our host.

<><><><><><><>

I thought I would try something different this week…

It’s Not Unusual was released by Tom Jones in 1965.

It’s not unusual to have snow and subzero temperatures in Chicagoland this time of year.

It’s not unusual for me to have a cat on my lap while I am blogging.

It’s not unusual for young children to make mistakes.

It’s not unusual for me to drink copious amounts of coffee.

It’s not unusual for me to be reading three or four books at a time.

It is not unusual for me to STAY with a book series until I have completed it.

It’s not unusual for me to spill something on my shirt.

It’s not unusual for the grocery delivery person to ignore our instructions.

It’s not unusual for me to fall asleep in my recliner after a long day of work.

It’s not unusual for my folded laundry to STAY in the basket until I need to wear something.

It’s not unusual for me to read and interact with my fellow bloggers.

It’s not unusual for me to pray for others.

It’s not unusual for me to listen to reading plans on both YouVersion and Through the Word .

  1. Love this…It’s not unusual for the grocery delivery person to ignore our instructions.

I can relate to many of these “not unusual”statements. …except not the cat on the lap, mine is a big, floppy Corgi on my lap instead.

  2. It’s not unusual for me to drop something on my shirt or to fall asleep in my chair after any day, LOL.

I love the spin you put on this prompt! It was unusual!
