On my side table lies a bag of cough drops; sadly, they don’t seem to be helping much. πŸ™

I will need to lint roll my black wool coat, as my cat knocked it on the floor and made a nest. πŸ§₯

Tears stream down my cheeks as I rewatch “The Hiding Place”. πŸ’”

  1. My NASB1995 Super Giant print Bible sits open at 2 Corinthians on my laptray in front of my tray, reminding me that I have more to read. The mahogany mantel clock ticks soothingly on the window sill. Past the window the world outside is in darkness…I don’t have to look at the rain now! And now the oak venetian blinds are closed, keeping the heat in.

  2. My whole room space heater is trying to keep up and keep us warm.
My large drink cup is full of flavored water-orange blast-and I’m sipping while reading//writing.
Four jugs of filtered water are on the floor near the driver’s seat so we don’t run out and have plenty for hot beverages.
The dog’s kennels are in the front of the bus to my right, in case we find a rent house soon because that’s where the girls ride when we are in motion.

  4. I am sitting in front of my laptop, the place I express many of my hopes and fears to blogging friends I will never meet.

I have a bottle of vanilla frappuccino beside my computer, which attests to my addiction (LOL).

There are landscapes on the wall, which reflect the beauty of God’s creation.

There are photos on my desk of some of the people I love, which reflect to how greatly I have been blessed.

  5. Two black and white photos my son framed for me and a favorite rocking chair where grandchildren have been held. There is a red white and blue afghan I crocheted cushioning our bay window seat and the window that gives me a view of many birds fighting at the feeder more than four feet away.

  6. I see a green, knobby dog toy centered on a whitish-gray carpet in my peripheral vision; a colorful screen of colors popping into the living room producing images of couples ice skating against a glassy ice service; blazing flames contained in a matte black pellet stove, and a wrinkle-faced English Bulldog attempting to keep red rimmed eyelids open.
